Ten 'n' Donna WIP by eclecticmuse Ten 'n' Donna WIP by eclecticmuse
I got the idea to do this from a a piece icegaze did, which you can find here. I thought it was a really neat way to do fanart, so I tried it. basically, it's colored pencil on stock paper, glued together.

I did the cutting and pasting back in September and then didn't touch it until tonight because I was afraid of sullying it with my colored pencils. Even now I haven't finished their faces because I'm unsure how to proceed: should I color in their faces realistically, or do vague suggestions of facial features, etc? I'd really appreciate input on this.

Also, Donna's dress has a chiffon overlay at the neck and sleeves and you can see I tried to get fancy by simulating that with black ribbon. It didn't quite work. :D

Anyway, this be Ten and Donna from Doctor Who.

Truthfully...  It's beautiful as it is.  I thought you'd left the faces incomplete purposely!!

I honestly like this as is, even without the facial features! :)

I like it alot!

I almost like them better without faces...You get more out of their posture rather than their faces and plain expressions!

If you want to draw faces, go ahead! Softer hints of features might be cool!

Brilliant, in any case!!! :D *favs*

I actually think the ribbon looks great. I'd go realistic with the faces, but soft- almost transparent. Great job, random deviant!
